First and last time

Last year we stayed at Divi Links. Room was gorgeous but pool crowded and staff not so friendly. Decided to try Dutch. Room in serious disrepair...old, the air unit was leaking, our bedroom lamps were broken (but were replaced promptly when we called). But the worst thing is the confusion and inconvenience. Our desk is at Divi Links...the desks right here can't usually assist, so have to take a shuttle. The towel "hut" is a kid sitting on a chair in front of a bin and he is only there from 3-6 in the afternoon...we got in late and no one bothered mentioning that, so I had to beg borrow and steal to get towels for the beach from the Tamarijn, whose hut was poem. That's the next issue...no one, not even the staff, has any idea what's going on. The Dutch, Tamarijn and Aruba a resorts are all commingled, but no one can ever tell you who has what for whom. Will be looking for a nicer room next year...

WOW! And I thought it could not get any worse. Well guess what. Cockroachs in the room did it for me. I would NOT recommend this resort to anyone!! They just don't care there. Talked to several Managers and basicly nothing was done when I mentioned my find. I would think twice before I booked here!! Thats all Folks!

not happy

I've been coming to this resort for over 20years and this year was my worst. The up keep of the resort has gone to the dogs. The pool tiles were coming of, the bridge at phase 2 had wood splinters. The lounge chairs were filthey. The front desk told us one thing and when we went to check was something else. As of right now I would look somewhere else if I was going to buy another timeshare. I talked to managers about my issues and it seemed they did not care. Again was not happy and hopefully they get things looking better soon!

Beautiful Resort

The Divi Village was a beautiful resort with great amenities. Our children enjoyed the large pool with the slide and the swim up bar was nice. The staff was very friendly. Our only complaint was the cleanliness of our room, the freezer needed to be defrosted because there was blood (from meat) frozen on the bottom of the freezer and we had to wipe down all the cabinets and drawers because they were full of dust and sawdust (they were new cabinets). We also had a faulty shower knob that they did fix the second day we were there. It was obvious they are in the processing of updating the resort and their efforts are showing. We would definitely stay at this resort again.

My only complaint is the fact that Tamarijn users are allowed the use of the pools. The pools are not large and can't handle the additional people. I thought when I purchased the week the grounds would be for the owners and guests. When I first vacationed on Aruba I stayed at the Tamarijn then purchased time share property because I wanted a more relaxed quiet week but I was mistaken.Other than that everything there is great
